Ben Cheriton Ben has been training in the martial art of TaeKwonDo for over 19 years. He has a strong love for teaching and get's a real buzz from seeing his students achieve the high standards they are set. Ben has been the instructor of Exeter TAGB since 2010. During those years standards have soared and over 250 regional titles and over 100 national titles have been earnt by his students. He has also coached 8 students to World Titles. 40 students have gained black belts during this time. |

Vicky Spencer Vicky has been training for 11 Years. She has completely fallen in love with Tae Kwon Do and had the pleasure to learn under instructors in Plymouth, Bristol and now Exeter. Vicki is particularly passionate about teaching children and really does know how to maximise a Childs potential. |

Warren Jones Warren started Tae Kwon Do in 2010, having seen his two sons Owen and Liam fall in love with the art. All three are now Black Belts and consequently Warren has really embraced the family aspects of Tae Kwon Do. He regularly achieved A passes during his years of gradings on his journey to black belt. |
Ben, Warren and Vicky considers themselves extremely lucky to have the backing of the TAGB and South West Area Co Ordinator Master Dew. The 4500 students who train in the South West of England with the TAGB are all graded and assessed by Master Dew himself.
All T.A.G.B. Instructors must pass an extensive two part Instructors course, including practical and written examinations on all aspects of coaching and First Aid Training. These qualifications are recognised by the Sports Council through our affiliation to the British Tae Kwon-Do Council. Instructors are fully Insured and CRB checked.
Tae Kwon-Do is a modern Korean martial art, characterised by its fast, high and spinning kicks.
Tae Kwon-Do is often translated as 'The Way of Foot and Hand'
'Tae' means to jump or smash with the foot
'Kwon' means to punch or destroy with the hand
'Do' means art, way or method

The B.T.C. was established in conjunction with the Sports Council to unify and oversee the development of Tae Kwon Do in the UK. Only Organisations in membership of the British Tae Kwon Do Council are listed on this page.

Karen Daniels is the joint instructor at the Tiverton Taekwondo club with her husband Ian. Together we have over 20 years experience in the art of Taekwondo and between us, have also studied Tai Chi, Karate and Kung Fu. All TAGB Taekwondo instructors are fully qualified and Enhanced CRB checked.
